WHOOA! Seriously, what an amazing weekend! It’s been over two weeks since my very first blogging summit. I was extremely nervous, and wasn’t sure how to dress or what to take. This tomboy, to say the least – was overly stressed about the normal lady stuff. SO, let me share my personal experience and a few short tips.

 Sisterhood. Hermanas. Friends!

This was such a new experience and I want to share all of the great resources that are helping me kickstart into this fun, which may help you too! A huge thank you to Robson Muzel and  Dariela Cruz-Gillespie for capturing the event photos and allow all of us bloggers and influencers to use their beautiful images.

Network.
There is nothing more that will help you grow, share, and envision your future without utilizing your social skills to network. Whether it’s face to face communication, small talk, or a quick Instagram Direct Message (DM). Keep your relationships fresh (as my husband likes to say!) and continue to nurture the virtual friendship online. Prepare to get out of your social anxiety shell. This is a place to laugh about your family (and blogging) mishaps. Share your ideas with other like-minded women, don’t be scared to collaborate.

Stay connected.
Two months before the blogging summit, I knew I wanted people to remember my blog, my name and most importantly, to stay connected. Therefore, I made these cute Blog Cards on Zazzle.com * with my own little design twist. And for the record, N0, I’m not a graphic designer. It was so easy to create something that I loved. PLUS, there are so many adorable templates that are pre-made. I loved that so many of the other influencers gave me their personal cards as well.

Be Yourself.
As much as I stressed out to be nicely dressed, the best thing I took that day was my confidence. There were so many beautiful women in their own different style. Nobody cared to out-do, one-up, or look better than anyone else there. OR that some of us are just starting out with less than 50 followers, and yet some had thousands! In fact, we all complimented each other over, EVERYTHING. Instantly became a giant network of comadres (friend)!

Take Lots of Photos.
These events will mostly be designed to share on your social media feeds and have those awesome event hashtags. You can check out the scoop with some of my new friends utilizing the hashtag #WeAllGrowFAMILIA on Instagram.

Learn + Grow.
Don’t be scared to ask questions. There will always be useful tips that someone can pass along. One of my favorite things about going to #WeAllGrowFAMILIA was having the ability to bounce ideas off other influencers to create future collaboration ideas. I was taught so much from other Bloggers, Podcasters, and YouTubers! There’s just so much more that I can learn from them.

Stay Motivated.
One thing that I have personally tend to lacked is the motivation to continue and have patience. My goal for 2018 is to create my vision board of the person I want to become. Not the materialist things I want. To move forward and help others. Giving my followers content that will be useful for my friends, family and virtual pals. These are the things that will drive my motivation. Overall, the #WeAllGrowFAMILIA event has helped me grow. This event created a new vision for my blog, myself and is giving me the push to strive for more. To grow with love and passion.
