Everyone knows, the best time to be a kid is during the holidays 🎄(and your birthday🎉)! Let’s face it, us #Millennials love to buy cute outfits for our kids. Most of the time, my struggle is finding a toy that my nieces and nephews don’t already own. The next best gift, cool outfits to add to their collection!
What child doesn’t love to unwrap a toy?! This year I have tried to stay away from purchasing toys, but I gave in. Dolls, trucks, trains, and barbies are much more exciting for kids to open than a set of clothes. Sonny helped me out and was able to circle some of the cool toys he felt were HOT this year.
I love the winter breeze and decorating for the holidays, it brings the 25 Days ’til Christmas into an exciting count down. There’s one thing I wish I could master, the art of DIY. However, since I’m not the best at artsy fartsy DIY stuff, I’ll share some of the hip and cool advent calendars for boys and girls (unisex).
One of our family traditions is a gift exchange between all of the adults. It helps us cut down on the Christmas shopping expense and we enjoy the excitement of the unknown gifts. However, two years ago we started our White Elephant mug exchange. This has been so much more fun! We get to find silly, cute, and weird mugs to fill with cool nic-nacs and gifts.
It’s finally over! The holidays quickly arrived and they flew by waaayy too fast. My family was blessed with many toys, lots of food, great clothes and most of all..a holiday with nobody fighting or talking crap to each other after Christmas dinner.
My favorite part about my role as a #BoyMom or #MomOfBoys are the cool gifts they score for birthdays, Christmas, and the other special occasions. With the holidays coming by, I wanted to share some gift ideas for boys under 5 years old.
