I just got laid off. Those words typically scare away many families and cause so much extra stress. I’ve been very lucky to have picked up a great freelance/contractor position to create additional income for my family. This isn’t the first freelance position I’ve taken on, some are short term, others are long term. Therefore, I wanted to create a list of 10 Ways to Make Extra Money (as a freelancer or Stay At Home Mom/Dad). There are some fun jobs that are thrown into this mix for those of you who are looking to get creative, work part-time, or ditch your 9 to 5 job.
The coolest part about living in Southern California is having access to so many fun theme parks. My boys love to run wild and explore, Disneyland is the happiest place for a family of young kids. Spring is my favorite time of the year!!! The sun-kissed weather that won’t make you run for the house with A/C. I can relax and it gives me an excuse to spend more time at the beach. Plus, it helps when the sand isn’t raging hot.
We often have days when we don’t want to drive to far, but definitely want the kids to run their energy out, and I want to effortlessly use my camera. Hiking through Vasquez Rocks has become our new family workout and photography hot spot. My boys get to play outside, jump over things, find lizards and enjoy the moment.
