Sea World Tickets

Now that we’ve been enjoying more adventures outside of our hometown, one of my favorite places has always been San Diego. The area always has beautiful weather, excellent restaurants, especially in Down Town San Diego! My absolute favorite place to see some beautiful sea creatures up close and personal – in Southern California is hands down Sea World. I know there are many mixed emotions about the topic, just think this way; my ticket admission fee is helping feed those awesome whales, sharks and sea lions. Here are some clips and tips from my personal experience..

Fish for Sea Lions

Sonny’s favorite interaction at Sea World was definitely feeding the sea lion fish! It was so much fun! There were some little white birds (I forgot their names) that were so aggressive with snatching up your fish as you tossed them to feed the critters below. All of the sections with different sea animals had some knowledgable details that were explained, very educational.

We decided to buy the Annual Passes with the EZ Pay Monthly option. It was a lot more affordable and has great discounts on merchandise, food, and parking is free with the purchase of the annual ticket. The entire park is full of educational tips and interactions, it was an investment that I absolutely love. A great perk; you can take 1 guest in for Free during your birthday month if you’re an annual pass holder! This works out perfectly for Sonny and I since we were both born in August. They give active duty military and their dependents one free ticket for the day, check out Waves of Honor to redeem your ticket free Active Duty Military freebie. Worth every penny spent!

Sleeping Polar Bear

Food, we all dread buying a horrible theme park meal, we enjoyed some typical crispy chicken strips with fries and fruit, of course we purchased a yummy funnel cake. It was not disappointing at all, the fruit was fresh. Pricing was typical as other parks, meals averaging $9-$15 and more. We were able to take some snacks in for the boys; gold fishes, reusable thermal tumblers with milk and juice, fruit, uncrustable sandwiches to hold the boys up throughout the day.

Sea World San Diego Recharging Station

One of the coolest little hidden gems was the Relax and Recharge covered bench area, if you’re like me and overly take photos with your camera phone, you’ll most likely want to avoid a dead battery midway through your visit. They have this awesome section to freshen up and relax while your cell phone charges. It also sprays a light mist of water eon those hot summer trips.

Sea World Cookie

At the end of our day, Sonny picked a few souvenirs and this cute cookie shaped like a killer whale. We are already planning our second trip and really make use of our season/annual passes. Check our family Sea World video below!
