What child doesn’t love to unwrap a toy?! This year I have tried to stay away from purchasing toys, but I gave in. Dolls, trucks, trains, and barbies are much more exciting for kids to open than a set of clothes. Sonny helped me out and was able to circle some of the cool toys he felt were HOT this year.
WHOOA! Seriously, what an amazing weekend! It’s been over two weeks since my very first blogging summit. I was extremely nervous, and wasn’t sure how to dress or what to take. This tomboy, to say the least – was overly stressed about the normal lady stuff. SO, let me share my personal experience and a few short tips.
One of my favorite quick and easy breakfast meals is, hands down: Chia and Protein Oatmeal. It’s the absolute easiest breakfast you can make! Plus, it will cost less than $1.46 per day to enjoy a healthy guilt free breakfast. By the way, you can make this 100% as a vegan recipe too!
I love the winter breeze and decorating for the holidays, it brings the 25 Days ’til Christmas into an exciting count down. There’s one thing I wish I could master, the art of DIY. However, since I’m not the best at artsy fartsy DIY stuff, I’ll share some of the hip and cool advent calendars for boys and girls (unisex).
One of our family traditions is a gift exchange between all of the adults. It helps us cut down on the Christmas shopping expense and we enjoy the excitement of the unknown gifts. However, two years ago we started our White Elephant mug exchange. This has been so much more fun! We get to find silly, cute, and weird mugs to fill with cool nic-nacs and gifts.
